Vangaveeti Ranga's murder on Silver Screen

Veteran filmmaker Dhavala Sathyam who earlier directed sensational film 'Chaitanya Ratham' which revolves around the murder of Radhakrishna (Ranga's elder brother) is now planning to make a sequel after a couple of decades.

Apparently, 'Chaitanya Ratham' is based on the real life story of Vangaveeti Radhakrishna and the film was produced by Ranga. The movie revolves around three characters Radhakrishna, Ranga and IPS Officer Vyas. Sharath Babu played Radha, Bhanuchandar appeared as Radha and Giribabu has done the role of Vyas. Everyone associated with the project has received threat calls and some even walked out of the film in the halfway. But still, the film has been completed and released in the year 1987. It is heard that Radha had tears in his eyes after watching the cold-blooded murder of his brother and the attempts he made to escape from the attackers onscreen.

Now, Dhavala Sathyam wants to make 'Chaitanya Ratham 2' which is based on the sensational murder of Ranga who is a demigod of Kapu community. The director reveals the murder of Radhakrishna is no way related to that of Ranga and claims to have know exactly what has happened on that day.

'Chaitanya Ratham' has become highly controversial because it was the name of NTR's chevrolet van and the film is about the life of anti-TDP person Radhakrishna. The sequel will be as controversial as the original for sure.
