According to a survey conducted by Headlines Today channel and C-Voter, it looks like Congress led states are going to experience the rise of an alternative power centre rather Cong forming the government. Base on an opinion poll, Cong may find it difficult to form UPA3 in 2014.
The survey indicated that TRS would win 12 seats in T-region, while YSR-C will get 11 seats across Andhra Pradesh. Ruling Congress government will be able to win 7 MP seats, and will lose 26 seats, the survey says. Also Telugudesam will be winning 10 seats in the region if elections are conducted at this second for the 42 MP seats. Analysts of the survey predicted that both TRS and YSR-C will definitely form an alliance with Congress at the Centre to help UPA3 come into existence. Maybe this survey is an eye opener for people who believe that TRS and YSR-C will stay away from Congress. The secret alliance between Jagan's party, pink party and Congress could not be ruled out because the ruling party cannot join hands with its enemy TDP in the state.
All in all, Congress will be losing out many MP seats this time though it will not allow even oppositions or a third front to get full majority. Let us see what happens.
