Sabita and Dharmana resigns

Abiding by the orders of the Congress High Command, Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy and Roads and Buildings minister Dharmana Prasada Rao have submitted their resignations to chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy on Sunday.

The CBI which is investigating Jagan's illegal assets case has named Dharmana in the fourth charge sheet and Sabitha in the fifth charge sheet for favoring the private firms which invested in Yuva Neta's companies during YSR's regime.

High Command is of the opinion that continuing tainted ministers in the cabinet will send wrong signals to the public. The matter was passed to Kiran Kumar Reddy during his recent four-day visit to New Delhi for discussion various party matters. CM Kiran has been directed to seek the resignations of the two ministers.

So far, the state government has defended the two ministers saying they have just implemented the orders of YSR's cabinet and they weren't the actual beneficiaries of the illegal GOs. With the government taking U-turn, there is every possibility of both Sabita and Dharmana getting behind the bars.
