Veteran Congress leader and Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation chairman M Satyanarayana Rao, who has been keeping away from any issue related to the Telangana movement for the last few years, is back in action with the Telangana demand.
MSR on Saturday warned the Congress high command of serious repercussion if it did not form the Telangana state. “The party will be wiped out in the region if it does not take any steps for the Telangana state formation,” he warned.
At the same time, MSR lashed out at chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for his hegemonic behaviour and ignoring seniors in taking crucial policy decisions. And he also expressed sympathies towards YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, saying the latter would not have faced so many difficulties, had he continued in the Congress party.
Why has MSR suddenly become active? According to sources, MSR would soon be relinquishing the APSRTC chairman post and he would be back in political employment. So, he has to make some statements to be active in the media!
