The audio release function of any film is more like a prelude to the feel of the film. Generally, a lot of focus is kept on making the audio release event a very entertaining one so that it sets a positive talk in the market. However, that was not the case with the yet to release film ‘Sukumarudu’ and its audio release event.
Reports say it happened in a very dull way. Apparently, the film members are projecting it as a star combo of music director Anup Rubens and hero Aadi but the fact is it is not so. It is only them who are doing that branding. Sources reveal the audio release event happened in a very stale manner.
The surprising thing was onstage songs of Aadi-Anup Rubens songs were performed. Usually they put recorded songs and there will be lip movement from singers but here it was happening live with singers and hardly any instruments were present so the quality went down drastically. And those songs were not some chartbusters. But they are overbranding themselves. Even those who were watching TV changed their channels. Let’s hope the film mends this gap.
