Dissident Nuzvid MLA Rama Kotaiah who is busy singing the tune of Congress though he is a TDP MLA now is expressing wish to ban TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu from his MLA post.
Telugudesam party is seeking ban on MLAs who voted against their whip in the recent no-trust vote. TDP MLA Rama Kotaiah's name was included on the list of members sought by the party for sacking. However, Rama Kotaiah stated that Chandrababu is also absent on that day and asked how could he be exempted from the whip and stripping of his MLA post. In fact, he wants the party to seek his explanation first and then he will answer speaker Manohar about his non-committed act against TDP.
Political sources however revealed that a party's president will be free of such whips and he can take decisions accordingly in the situation of emergency. Maybe Rama Kotaiah should check basics before alleging in this way.
